NOTE: Once the specification matures through additional operational experience, the specification and supporting documents will be submitted to the IETF for standardization.
Participant Roster
The DMARC specification has been developed as part of a loose collaboration to help reduce the threat of email phishing and to improve coordination between email providers and email sender domain owners.
The following is a list of some of the participants who have contributed to the specification:
- Email Providers: AOL, Comcast, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail
- Financial Institutions and Service Providers: Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, PayPal
- Social Media Properties: American Greetings, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Email Security Solutions Providers: Agari, Cloudmark, eCert, Return Path, Trusted Domain Project
