I'm late to this thread, but what you're suggesting is that DMARC is
going to break RFC 5322. Given that the plan is to send the draft
into the IETF standards maw, I don't think you're going to get a very
happy reception.
Also, section 11.1 is sort of ambivalent about what to do. On the one
hand, it says, "A message bearing multiple RFC5322.From identifiers is
ambiguous under DMARC, and MUST be ignored with respect to all DMARC
processing." Then later it says, "Such messages SHOULD be rejected."
These can't both be true, unless the idea in the latter sentence is
that the message should have been rejected prior to getting to the
stage where you need to decide about DMARC processing; in that case,
the SHOULD is wrong.
